The Shunda Family – Veterans Memorial Rose Garden, Norwich Connecticut

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of working with the Shunda family again for a beautiful session at the Rose Garden in Norwich, Connecticut. This was a first time for me shooting at this location and I was just blown away by the beauty that surrounded the beautiful landscape! About a month before our session I decided to grab my husband for an impromptu trip over there to scope it out and see if it would be a spot I could work with. Unfortunately, none of the roses were in bloom. The one thing I noticed was how beautiful the layout was and I was able to get a great idea of what it would look like after all of the rose bushes were in bloom. It seemed like overnight with a little bit of magic and poof! All of the roses were thriving, open and waiting to be photographed. Stephanie and her adorable daughter Madeline were blown away with how gorgeous the location was. The only thing little Madeline kept saying was, "This is so beautiful, Mommy!" It truly was. It looked like a beautiful setting someone had painted and really made for a perfect photography session. The beauty of the roses paired with Miss Madeline's blossoming personality made for some really awesome pictures! She is growing into a beautiful young lady and I can't wait for our next planned session together!

The roses at the Rose Garden are only in bloom through the summer, so I decided to schedule some mini sessions there after seeing just how incredible this place was! If you would like more information on my mini sessions I'm offering there on July 13th, check out this page: Rose Garden Mini Sessions.
